Sept 15th 2009

Today is my Birthday and I am 37 years old.
I can feel the love of my family and friends traveling from Canada alllllllllll the way to France...and I kid you not, I can really feel it.

I am here, in France, and I must say, I am the luckiest woman in the world.

I have parents that love me, care for me, and want the very best for me. There is nothing these two individuals would not do for any of their children to make sure they are safe and sound and well.

I have an amazing sister Monique who loves me terribly and we are great friends. Monique is beautiful, funny, and very outgoing, and if you get to know her, she will do her best to help you out any day. Doug, her partner is fabulous as he is generous and caring, funny, and welcomes all of us (Momo's family) as his own, and his love too is with me.

I have two brothers, handsome, strong, and hard working. Etienne (Monsieur Energy) is in Alberta and his sense of adventure and up front honesty are two of his traits I admire the most. And Claude, true to himself and fair in his actions is with me today.

I have aunts and uncles and cousins that affect my life in greater ways than they think, and I am grateful for their presence.

I also have a handful of friends...and each one is unique, special, and brings to my life a richness that I did not have before. I have friends that I've known for years and have shared intense life moments with, I have friends that make me laugh and think and re-think, and I have friends that make me grow and wish for more. I have friends that I have lost and found again and appreciate even more. And I have friends that come and go and come and go and it's the way it is.

I know very good people and I'm lucky to say that I work with many of them.

Claude is in our place cooking dinner for us. He refused to let me help with dishes this morning (due to the day you know) and insisted on cooking breakfast---so I let him ofcoarse---twist my rubber arm!

So yes, I am happy. And 37 is 37. It took a while to get here and for all it's worth, I wouldn't change a thing.

Merci Mom pour tes intentions---Je t'embrasse fort, fort, fort. Donne un bec a Dad et Momo pour moi.

    Un gentil petit coucou avant que tu te reveilles. J'en profite pour t'envoyer un calin du pacifique par l'intermediaire du bel homme qui t'accompagne. Quelle beau voyage vous faites et que de souvenirs vous me faites revivre (voyage 1995 et 1997). J'ai hate de vous revoir pour en parler autour d'une bonne table bien garnie.     ReBonne Fete. Oui j'ai pensee a toi toute la journee et j'ai aime ca, comme lorsque tu etait petite tres petite 5 lbs ce n'est pas gros. J'ai lu tout tes recits, ils sont toujours tres captivants d'une fois a l'autre. Les photos sont magnifiques merci a Claude et a toi. Vous faite une tres bonne selection des endrois a visiter. Felicitation je suis tres fier de vous. Vous avez l'air en forme, c'est bon de vous voir vigoureux et petillants, (vos yeux brilles) ca c'est bon signe. A la prochaine lecture et photos.
