Rumon has arrived, tired but safe and sound. It's so funny to see that in less than 10 minutes after dropping off his bag and barely being comfortable, he announced that all of his contacts are currently informed that he is in Innsbruck with a location to boot---how is this technology possible I ask? Well, he has a gadget, a cute little orange hand held device that sends a message to the moon (satelite in reality) and it sends an automatic email to pre-destined addresses to inform these others of the exact wherabouts of the owner of the device---I'm still floored. Rumon comes equiped with a phone that works on top of that. Do I ever have things to look into---I almost feel like I'm from the dark ages.
I'm back to chasing my internet connections and now I have my computer battery to contend with ( I tell you this trip must be about finding 'patience' and on how to better organize ones self when traveling!).
Anyways, it is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too nice a day today to be doing this---typing.
So Claude if you happen to read this I see no new emails in my shaw account so I'm going to continue ahead wiht our Sept 5th date and plan on arriving earlier than later.
Trust me, I will also continue to connect and will try to read my mail tonight before I retire to my new location---I've found a historical hostel, small and family owned, and I'll be above a very delicious looking cafe (goodies a la 'Murchies'). It's comforting to know that if I should get stressed out (not that I Diane ever go thru such troubles) that I can count on chocolate cake to be readily available to me---ha ha ha.
Off to google----and I look forward to posting pictures of this place---it's quite something with the mountains standing proudly all around this little town.
Ok---GoNE---Dd
