I made it safe and sound so much so that I missed the landing! I realized the bigger bump was us touching ground and not an air pocket---great pilot!
My shuttle picked me up and brought me straight to my hotel.
And once settled into my room I brought my little computer to the bar room to see if I could touch base but alas there was no connection to be had.
I devoured my angus burger and ate every single fry and loved each bit---when you're starving food tastes absolutely magnificient.
I even watched the 'football' game to be a part of the crowd.
Anyhooooo time is ticking, literally, the coins have been dropped into this computer here at the terminal and I want/need to look into where I am going today.
Soooooo I'll be back at my hotel for tomorrow night and ready for my flight on October 1st. I'll touch base as soon as I can but for now, as time is limited, this may be it for the next day and half---we'll see.
Mom---je vais te contacter chez moi le moment que je suis au ferry---j'ai bien hate de vous voir tous.
Thanks Pinou for all of your thoughts---I hope you come out sooner than later with our baby brother. TT (nice eh? short version).

Bien chere Diane. Comme d'habitude j'ai lu avec empressement ton courrier. Et comme toujours j'ai ri avec ta short version of TT pour Claude. Je me demande ou tu prends toutes tes idees, car elles sont tres bonne. Meme si je me suis couchee tot, je me suis eveillee souvent cette nuit, et a 5 hrs ma nuit etait finie. C'est parce que 1..MONIQUE VIENT CE SOIR ET 2..TU T'EN VIENT DANS QQ, HEURES. Je pense que j'ai trop d'energie, je suis si contente que j'ai de la diffilculte a rester calme a l'interieur. Tu vas probablement avoir l'opportunite de lire ces lignes seulement a Vancouver et c'est O.K. A vrai dire j'aime ca ecrire un peu a chaque jour. Je me suis appercu que mon paragraphe est de plus en plus long. C'est une belle surprise. Jeudi apres mon travail 1.15 P.M., j'entre tout de suite chez toi. Notre beau soleil est cache. L'autumn est arrive. La temparature est plus fraiche et j'ai laisser mon manteau plus epais a la maison. Heureusement tu en a un noir M, j'en suis tres heureuse, car avec mon fleece seulement, je crain d'avoir froid. Bon le temps file. A tres bientot. Je t'embrasse. MOM XXXXXX
ReplyDeleteAllo la belle poupounette. Juste un moment en ta compagnie. Aujourd'hui le ciel est couvert et il pleut. Ce matin moi j'etais bien au chaud, car j'avais mon fleece et ton manteau, les deux et j'etais juste bien. Dans 6 heures il sera temps de te lever et tu auras encore une belle journee remplie de surprises agreable pour toi. Mo travaille avec Gyslin ce soir jusqu'a 9 hrs.Lorsquelle va arriver, il sera temps de dormir. Sa compagnie sera (une mini compagnie).

ReplyDeleteOctober 1st is quickly approaching and my excitement is building for your return. We had a royal 1 "newbie coffee" day today at a downtown coffee shop. It was great to get together with other royal 1 new grads, only one thing was missing.... YOU! We will do it again once you are back and settled back into things.

Well, well if it isn't the European traveler returning home. That was quite a trip for you and for us. I would like to thank you for all your hard work in trying to keep us informed, and keep us with you in your travels. Thanks for all the wonderful pics you have taken, you have quite the photographers eye now. All you need is a good camera with options(lenses and such)noting wrong with the Canon Power shot, it's just limited.

I just got an idea!!!!!We should continue a blog for the whole family and who ever wants to put in a blog can and or reply, like mom says I'm really liking this and writing is more and more enjoyable and the messages are getting longer. It would be a good way to keep in touch and for all to take good photography pics of what ever they(we)please. We all got good Canons so why not??????Anywho WELCOME HOME and enjoy your dreams for they will be with you for a lot longer than they were for me. I'm finally getting good sleep now!!!!

Allo la belle Diane. Comme hier je me suis eveiller souvent et bien sure a chaque fois je regarde l'heure et je recule de 3 et j'ai l'heure de l'europe. Je calcule les heures encore et encore et ca ne va pas plus vite pour autant HA..HA..HA.. Claude a une excellente idee pour "ONADBLOG" de cette facon nous serions toujours en communication. Bon me voila encore une fois. La journee a passee assez vite et oui j'ai calculee souvent. Dans 10 hrs tu seras dans l'avion et on espere qu'il n'y aura pas de retard. Meme si il y a du soleil, avec le vent la temperature est plus froide. Hier Mo et moi avons eu une excellente visite. C'est tellement agreable,que j'ai hate de recommencer. J'espere que tu vas passer une bonne nuit. Un gros MERCI pour toutes les heures passee a nous garder ajour avec tes decouvertes toutes differentes et enrichissantes.
