Last day in Innsbruck, Austria Sept 04 2009

The rain is falling here abundantlz here in Innsbruck and it feels so familiar that it feels comforting.
I have so much enjoyed this location, the inhabitants of this part of Austria love it because it is the most active of any region. Innsbruck caters to various sports enthousiasts and although the summer time is busy with hikers, bikers, swimmers, and tourists, the locals count on winter to really begin using land for what it is meant to enable; skying, snowboarding, snow hiking, alpine cross-country, and many more activities.
Last night, my roomate Udo and I went out for supper at the Buzihutte so that I may be introduced to a proper Austrian meal. The hut has been in operation I think since 1855 (I have not googled it yet so don't quote me on it yet). Did u know that here in Europe, dogs are welcome to join the family to dinner? Aviva and I did see little dogs under tables (and heard the odd squable between pets too). Last night, a beautiful lab 'Tequila' joined our opposing neighbors, unfortunately, as the dog is black and the floors are dark,AND the light was dim, Tequila squealed when the third party stepped on his tail. Udo and I nearly fainted from the fright it gave us.
I finally ate the real thing, the Snitzel (oh forgive my spelling) and I had the special kind, meaning it has a real name which I will provide later (limited on time again---well I'm at the University because it's wet and there's the internet).
During dinner the skies opened up and released a month's worth of rain and thankfully for us, the rain lightened up as we left, in the dark, and on foot.
We arrived at our hostel squeekz clean from the outdoor shower.

I have just receive a few emails from my brother Claude who has not slept, is packed, and is flying my way imminently. We are meeting up tomorrow morning in Paris. It feels funny to think, type, and breath the words out loud. Yahooooo!

So...a short one for now.
