One week to GO!

Goodness me, where does the time go?
One week left to tidy up loose ends, pack the big old backpack, and figure out 'the plan'.
I wake up feeling completely excited and I can't get back to sleep!
I'm on days off now and I have a wee feeling that I am going to be busy
I'm also back at work on Wednesday and before I know it, Aviva and I will be walking onto the ferry for the start of our adventure.

I've got my writing journal now---you know you need to connect with your writing material so that you are inspired to actually write in it---and it took awhile to find it.

I went out last night to meet up with some of my classmates from Camosun/UVic and it was soooo good to chat, see where everyone is at, and discuss traveling ideas. A few people want to visit Ireland, one Spain, and another hit a 'hot spot'. Talking about going away made my trip feel even closer. My head was spinning (no not from the wine) with the notion that it's 'my' turn now.

Now I need to also connect with Claude so that we can figure out a meeting place in Paris!
Ha! It's fun to even say it outloud---I can't wait for us to meet up!

My darling Momo will be visiting Claude in Alberta this month and I so wish Etienne and Momo could just come on over with Claude---it could be the Sibling Fearsome Foursome! OH well---Claude and I will have to scope out the place and generate big ideas for next years plans for a family/friend vacation abroad.

Well---I need my coffee---so on this cloudy and slightly windy morning I'm off in search of my java!
